About the piece
A round disc of 18K yellow gold. One side of its face has a fine satin texture; across the other, a smooth, high-polished wave rises and sweeps in a curve. A round pink sapphire sits in a polished bezel on the lower left. The disc hangs from a jump ring and a tube bail. Shown on a fine gold cable chain. Pink sapphire is a sapphire in every way, as hard and as lasting as blue. Made by hand in Sri Lanka as part of Soul of Ceylon.
